WORK IN PROGRESS 1
The purpose of this project was to actively show the skills I have gained to date while working in a Light Fabrication Engineering shop. The table photographed is made from off cuts of 3mm, mild steel sheet, pulled from a scrap bin.
Techniques used; CNC press break, drop saw - mitering, sanding / dressing, MIG welding.
The chair above is one of two and as previously stated was fabricated to demonstrate the skills gained while working in a engineering workshop.
It was fabricated from 1.2mm stainless steel, inch by inch box section and the techniques used include Cutting / mitering, TIG welding, dressing & polishing.
The finished product will have a black leather lumbar roll across the back rest and a dome button cushion as the seat.
